Here Are Intriguing Items From the 99 Cent Store. And How Does One Mom Put Up With 4 Children Crying At Once?

Here is a segment I affectionately call Intriguing Items I Found At The 99 Cents Only Store:

Aside from some lovely hair accessories,

I also saw:

Some hydrogen peroxide.
Believe it or not, I was examining the label.
Even though our bodies produce it every day, who couldn't use more?

And, always good to have on hand:

Shasta Tiki Punch.
No, I have not actually tried the drink. But, who could resist something with such a festive label?

While reading the Detroit Free Press (I am from Detroit !), I noticed a tribute to a mom who is a grandmother, contributed by a reader. It was on a page filled with similar compliments to moms.
It read: "Even when all four kids are crying at the same time, she always seems to handle it with patience and love."
What???
It is good that she can do this, however...
If I heard four kids crying at the same time, I would want to run away.
Sometimes I even want to do this when I hear one kid crying.
