Tubing, The Gexa Energy Pavilion, And... Fried Kentucky Fried Chicken?

So you want some June activities?
Haven't you been wondering, "where is a good place to canoe?" Go to Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth, Texas on Sunday June 8.
You can canoe to your heart's content, while having a Sunday Funday.

Tomorrow is National running day.

Ok. Since the above events are the ONLY things happening in June. Here is one in July, and one in August!
In the Huh? I just wanted to dress like the Statue of Liberty category: Run the 7 kilometer or 4 kilometer course at Fair Park in Dallas, TX. After, attend a "festive celebration" in historic Fair Park while drinking as many beers as possible and dreaming of the fried Kentucky fried chicken (well, really... fried everything!) you can eat when the State Fair of Texas opens. The run takes place when? July 4.

The KXT Summer Cut musical show is happening August 15 at Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas TX. If you are a big fan of The Oh Hello's you can buy tickets tomorrow at 10:00 am. Get your mouse in gear.

Stay cool.

It's Saturday

Happy Saturday.

It is Day 29 of the blogathon. It is almost over.
Let's review: this month I went to Savannah, Georgia, watched "Cheaters", read about the movie "The Bling Ring," and read Gloria's blog.
It doesn't get much more exciting.

Millennial Generation, You Are So Lucky?

I was listening to the news the other day, and there was a reference to the "millennials" or generation Y.

I was annoyed at first that I am not part of the millennial generation. (Again, I'm 36).

Then I thought about it, and quickly thought, would I really want to be a millennial? I don't think I would like it.

In summary, I'm pretty old... Not old, but old enough to make the references you see in my blog.

Happy June. Also Happy June 8.
(It is day 8 of the blogathon. It means I have to blog the whole month).

Local Singer Amber Carrington. And, Happy June

Amber Carrington is someone I read about recently, as a contestant on The Voice.
Although she recently forgot some lyrics to a Skid Row song (Gasp), she is still on the show.

When I first read about her I knew nothing, so I looked her up.

The summary: I am not a fan of the big hair, jewelry, or the high-heeled boot things. But, the Dallas area songstress has a strong, strong voice. Even if she does not win on the Voice, her voice will take her far.
Happy June.

THE END.

Thank you for reading.

It is Day 7 of the blogathon.

Troubles With A Document Box. And, Read Gloria's Awesome Blog.

Hello,

I bought a Super Stacker Document Box from Target. It is made by Advantus.
I tried to put a folder in the box, and it wouldn't fit.
So I thought, what's the point of a 'Super Stacker' Document Box, if it won't hold a folder CONTAINING documents?

On to:
My friend Gloria is the one who told me about the Blogathon, last year.
Thank you, Gloria, for telling me, and for your general awesomeness.
Make sure to take a gander at her blog, and in the process, see and buy her new book.

Thank you for reading, during the blogathon (all of June).

THE END
