"Platica.Textea.Chocea." And, I Was Jealous Of A Girl's Shoes.

Hello:

Back to cause more disgrace.

I am liking the Hispanic nature of this:
I saw a billboard recently that said, "Platica. Textea. Chocea."
It was located on I-30 West going toward downtown.

The translation is: Talk. Text. Crash.

As I stated, I do like the fact that a billboard is geared at the Hispanic community.
But what I want to highlight is the fact that the word "textea" is kind of a made up word.
It has probably been invented since the dawn of texting. I have not heard it frequently used in Spanish.

It made me chuckle! Hardy har har.

Also, I saw a girl who was walking home from school Friday (actually, it was on Abrams Road) who was wearing high-top sneakers, white jeans or pants, and a pink football jersey honoring someboday. Who? Who knows.
She was really young, probably about 8 or 9.

So, what I want to highlight is that I was jealous of her shoes.
High-tops give me an 80's flashback.

Except for seeing them here and there, I did not know they still made them.

Yours in high-top land,

AND, What are you doing for May Day?
