Honoring Daisy The Dog. And Welcome to the Big D, Where I Am Running For My Life

Back to fill those crevices that may or may not exist in your life.

I will be running the Big D half marathon today. Yes, I will be running for my life.

Getting serious for a moment:

I have an elderly neighbor who has been faithfully walking his dog for about 10 years or so. Recently, I saw him walking by himself. He informed me that his dog, Daisy, had died. And he said, "there's been a lot of sadness in our house for the last couple of weeks."
It's pretty strange to get choked up about a dog that is not yours. However, during a time when some people choose to harm their children, or don't love the humans they are supposed to love, it is nice that he cared so much about

his dog. This picture is not exactly what Daisy looked like; however, it is the closest thing I could find.

Music "News": I am deciding if I like the Adele song, "Rumor Has It" enough to add the video. The jury is still out.
