Hello all,
I am not a big fan of Siri.
This is the talking feature on the iPhone 4s. Supposedly, it is an extra helpful device.
When you need to do something or find something out, you can just ask Siri (you can ask it to text or call someone...). I have not found it very helpful and have decided to not use it very much.
Today my mom asked me to ask Siri something ... it was to ask about a song; it was something that was not completely necessary. I said, "I hate Siri. It is not a good feature."
I guess she got the picture.
Also, the Siri voice on my phone is programmed to Japanese.
I am hoping I can get some actual benefit, and learn Japanese.
Music News: There is a rapper called Wocka Flocka Flame. I noticed it when I was reading the birthdays column the other day. Apparently Wocka celebrates on May 31.
Good evening. As you noticed I have deleted anything about the blogathon from the description of my blog. That is because the blogathon is over for me--it ended May 31. However, keep checking in (you can do this daily if you wish) as you don't want to miss anything.
Have a great night,

Welcome to my little piece of the blogosphere. During your visits to my blog you will see postings sometimes about music. I will talk about my favorite artists. I will talk about events and places to go. Since I am currently living at home, I'm North Dallas Homegirl and weblogista (Yes, I've been cracking myself up for 8 years).

Anderson Cooper Says Audi 5000 To A Woman, Mapsco Goodness, And Flowers That Turned Out Very Bright
Dear Readers,
Anderson Cooper told a woman who has had a LOT of plastic surgery to get off his show, calling her "dreadful" (Interesting word choice. Was he trying to be British?)
I have enjoyed the son of Gloria Vanderbilt for some time.
Yes, I am still a fan of Anderson Cooper.
Here is the confusing part: I always considered him a serious reporter (have you seen AC 360?). That is why I liked him. With his talk show containing oodles of soccer moms in the background, I am thinking, what in the world happened to Anderson Cooper?
I remember him reporting from serious locations, such as after Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana.
It is very hard to gel the image with the daytime chatter (Co-host one day recently: Rebecca Romijn!!)
New topic: I shared a grouchy exchange with someone today. The other party was grouchy first. What goes through my head when someone is super grouchy or kind of mean: 1.) Why does this person hate me? 2.) What did I do to offend them? 3.) Do they really matter, or, does their approval really matter to who I am?
I am trying to get to the third thought more quickly.
I know this "segment" was a little random.
I bought a Mapsco today. Even though maps are easily accessible with iPhones, I still want one. Do not ask why.
Some have already told me, "you don't need that, you have it on your phone." However, I am keeping my d*** Mapsco map.
Lovely. Just lovely.
Music News: The song "We Are Young," by Fun will not go away.
The End. Good Evening,
Alice

A picture I took at Richland College. It turned out much brighter than I thought.
