in honor of Wes Berggren

Hi:
Yesterday I lit a candle in honor of Wes Berggren, who died in my apartment nine years ago. He died nine years ago yesterday. He was a guitarist in Tripping Daisy. I lit a candle to honor him--then I sung a little bit of the song "I've Got a Girl," even though I don't know all the words. ("I've got a girl, she'll argue anytime," -- that's my favorite line). So that was my little tribute. Nothing mysterious happened, but after I lit the candle a frame with a Van Gogh print on it fell eerily off the table (gasp).

I know it's long, but if you want to find out more about Wes Berggren, you can type in this site:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tripping_Daisy#Wes_Berggren_and_Tripping_Daisy

I also lit a candle (outside) for my apartment because I am sad that I am leaving. The candle was in honor of my apartment and my time there. A black SUV was driving by and I decided it was my witness to my goodbye-candle.

um, thats all I have now. The other day i was in Starbucks (in uptown, no I don't go to uptown all the time and probably won't be going for a while), and this guy reminded me of one of my characters in the short story I am writing. Except he had a loud, very annoying laugh and my character does not have a loud laugh. So my character must be cooler.

ok, that's all blogger kids,
Sing "I've Got a Girl" in the shower, or not in the shower,
(I'll start--"I've got a girl, she wears high heels.")
chillax,
alice

Hello,

Wes was my best friend from 6th grade till his passing.

I came across this blog when I went searching for an old record he & Tripping Daisy produced.
Finally getting around to collecting all the vinyl editions they output. For some reason, I felt the need to collect them. Just something to have, that meant a lot to him.

You burning a candle for him, touched me. I burn a candle every year for him on his birthday.

Thank you for the sweet sentiment. I am sure his spirit enjoyed your company there.

Regards,
William Truly
