super chillsauce and Faux Fox--You are hypnotized into being addicted to this blog

doing some yoga trying to think of a super chillsauce blog for y'all. HOld on to your hats:
On Sat. (Sept. 13) I went to Good REcords on Lower Greenville to see the Faux Fox show. Also on the ticket was Gun Gun--Darktown Strutters was supposed to be there but they didn't show up because of the remnants of Hurricane Ike.
Wisely, Good Rec's handed out cans of Coors Original. However, in my opinion, it would have been more delicious to have a keg. At past events like this, they've had kegs.
Faux Fox rocked the unique record retailer, and lead singer George Quartz did whatever it took to get the crowd groovin'--including writhing on the floor. He wore a large patchwork shirt with a mysterious hood the whole time. And yellow loafers (the loafers were kind of grungy-looking). Julius Preston on keyboard, Edward Setina on bass, and Wesley Crusher on drum kit also rocked it out. IN between sets, Quartz encouraged Preston to do slam poetry but he refused. I'm planning on getting their new album (it's on my To-do list).
Gun GUn was ok. Lisa Hardaway and Ashley Cromeens comprise the group. I liked the second song they played (don't know the name of it). There were some awkward moments in the store while Cromeens adjusted her keyboard. The crowd didn't seem too into their show, maybe they were slatheringly waiting for Faux Fox. At the end I asked Hardaway if they had any CDs and she said they did not have anything recorded yet.
Overall, 'twas a good night. At the end of the night this guy who had been taking photos the whole time asked if I had a Flick'r site and I said no. He gave me a card with his Flick'r site on it, and I was thinking to myself: MUST GET A FLICK'R SITE (another thing on my To-Do list).
Please check out this site: www.jakeandamir.com. It is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny.
Oh, and I like the phrase super chillsauce. There should be a whole TV station devoted to the phrase super chillsauce. Just a station that would show the wonderful phrase over and over. I would watch it frequently. Ok, enough blabbing.
Bow down to Faux Fox,
Try to work super chillsauce into your normal everyday conversation,
alice
