After driving around for a few hours in the heat, here are the remarks I scrawled on my notebook (Ha Ha, Im just like Ernest Hemingway except my last name's not Hemingway; okay there are lots of other reasons Im not like him but he used to carry around a notebook): It's so hot it's stifling hot.
Grubby, baking heat.
So hot it's baking into my skin!!
Lots of sad, sad, grumpy Dallas people--this is nothing new. (This is what I witnessed; as always with my blog posts, take it or leave it).
I stopped at St. Monica church for something else and then was blessed by holy water (that I took).
Have to go for now.
I leave you with the question: Where's the Beef?? If you do not remember this commercial oh well.
