The other day I was in Hacienda Chichen Itza, a Mexican restaurant and panaderia (look it up--Mexican bakery) on Greenville Avenue , and this boy who was helping me, about 16 or 17 years old, had a cool rosary around his neck. I was going to tell him I liked it but I was too busy trying to balance my Rosca de Reyes and my Target purse.
I won a book at a business book synopsis group Friday (First Fridays, it meets at the Park Cities Club in Dallas). It's called Outliers, by Macolm Gladwell. Yay, it is my homework for the next week.
I heard that song Buffalo Stance by Neneh Cherry and I was totally jammin. I heard it this week while I was driving around. I like the line about: "wearin' padded bra, suckin beer through a straw." I think I was in 6th grade when that song came out. Ahhhhh, Neneh Cherry memories. I used to have her album.
