Hi Lovely Readers:
I was on the airplane today coming back from Charlotte, NC, and I sat by these 2 women who were funny. They were from Gastonia (in NC). And going to a bowling tournament.
At one point they asked me to take a picture of them. The woman next to me was trying to switch her camera from the video mode to regular camera mode. There was a video of her dog on the camera. She kept saying, "That's my dog, that's my dog," and every time she pronounced "Dog," she said it like, "da-WAG." I do not know if I am explaining this experience correctly except to say that the woman had a V. thick Southern accent. They were good seatmates.
Also, on or before the plane, I ate or drank: 2 coffees, 2 granola bars (one in the taxi cab), 1/2 a turkey sandwich, and some M and M's.
Just some FUN info about what I consumed.
I am always hungry when I am traveling, not to mention all the time.
I am takine a lovely orange pill called Stavzor. It is a much nicer color than some other pills I have been prescribed in the past.
Keep It Simple (Stupid!). This is just an instruction. I cannot believe I am typing this fast.
Chillax (Chill + Relax),
Alice
Peace.
Hope you like photos. I will try to post some more when I can.
Welcome to my little piece of the blogosphere. During your visits to my blog you will see postings sometimes about music. I will talk about my favorite artists. I will talk about events and places to go. Since I am currently living at home, I'm North Dallas Homegirl and weblogista (Yes, I've been cracking myself up for 8 years).

Super chillsauce blogging. I greedily ate a TWIX yesterday
Dear Loyal Readers:
I walked to the drugstore yesterday (Rite Aid). On the way back, I ate a TWIX bar. Yay! My TWIX-y treat for the day. Everyone here looks Charlotte-y. And I have been here before, but still everyone seems friendly in a Southern way. Wonder if I will drink some moonshine?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? question mark overkill. I'd settle for a margarita.
Music: I listened to Juanes, Un Dia Normal, recently. If you do not have it, go buy it.
Peace,
Chillax,
Alice

New Photos and GAS STATION UPDATE--You don't want to miss, Your Life Is At Stake
Y'all:
Here are some photos for you. If the order is correct, the first one is of a guy I saw near Preston and Northwest Highway with Crazy hair. His name is Forrest, he was cool about me taking the photo. Working with a crew from the city.

I pissed off some of the people at the Sc. gas station bc I put an earlier photo of me at the sc. gas station on said blog. It is now the funny, AWESOME, idiosyncratic gas station. I told the guy (I think he was Umess)I would take down the photo. It is no longer, ever, the sc. gas station. Forget you ever heard that word. Everybody should go to the funny, AWESOME gas station. I still love going there. Everyone should go and buy lots of Pepsi, JUMEX, AND Mexican essentials. The Mc Donald's picture at right (taken in the morning) replaces the other picture.
Your Fave Dangerous Blogger,
bbb / Alicia
p.s. I have not my homeless friend James in a while, he is usually at Preston and Royal. ???????????????????????????????? Question Mark Overkill.

Chick Fil A and my Blog provides Quality and quantity.
Dear Loyal Readers:
I was goingg to write a whole post about how sitting in my shrink's waiting room sucks and, is it anybody's favorite thing? But for lack of time I will just write this:
I took a class called the Landmark Forum, this past weekend, Fri,Sat and Sun. The people who work there are lame Landmark Nazis who do not let you eat. You get two 30 minute breaks during the morning-afternoon portion of the day, barely enough time to go and get something to eat, eat it while CHEWING, and make any phone calls you need to make. I was on a break Sunday, and I was eating outside the Landmark Building and I was planning on missing 2.5 hours of the class (which was the next session) so I could eat and Chillax. A guy from Landmark came outside and told me, "you don't want to miss this conversation, this is what you paid for." I had to tell him I was undernourished and even told him I was so undernourished I was going to be sick. That is not what I paid for. So I went to the "conversation" being held in the class and it was not Super Enlightening. I would go into more detail but it's hard to explain. W.T.F.
Also, a FUN Landmark Forum detail: Is sitting in a fluorescently-lit room for 13 hours anyone's favorite thing????????????????????????????????? question mark overkill.
I heard a song by the Grateful Dead, which I LOVE. Casey Jones. Black Tie Dynasty (they are from Dallas and they rock) has a new album avail. on iTunes and their myspace page.
chick fil a was expensive, I paid $8.91 for my meal today, so I took 5 mayonnaises. I should have taken 20. or 100.
Go and practice random acts of kindness.
Yours in WTF-ness,
bbb

Blogging Withdrawal Symptoms, Sunglasses and Confusing Hairstyle
Hi:
Having Blogging Withdrawal symptoms. This includes dreaming of the "Create Post" page on blogger.com and thinking about my next blog post in unlikely places, including CVS and while I am eating a TWIX bar. Phew, I am so glad to be creating this post.
I got a funny look from the Dunkin Donuts girl in the Drive Thru today because I was wearing my Crazy Zebra Striped Sunglasses. Or maybe it was my CONFUSING hairstyle. About sunglasses: Yes, I wear them inside! Yes, I enjoy wearing them inside!!!! And I will continue to wear my sunglasses inside as long as it is still enjoyable for me. Wearing your sunglasses inside is the new Tip of the Day. the other tip is: Try a Confusing Hairstyle.
--Music News: I bought the Lily Allen CD (actually my friend ECKHORT bought it for me), "It's not Me, It's You." Lily Allen is Awesome. I played her last album to death so maybe I will overplay this album also.
--I also bought Alkaline Trio, "Goddamnit" (Can you say that on the internet?), their first album. I haven't listened to all of it yet but so far I like it.
--I like a song by Young Jeezy. I'm not sure of the name but I keep hearing it and I like it. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I had never heard of Young Jeezy before but apparently he is a "Merchant of Cool." From the Defjam.com web site:
"No matter what is being supplied, a hustler is only as good as his word. With Atlanta serving up some of the hottest product in the rap game, native son Young Jeezy stands as one of the most exciting merchants of cool to emerge in years."
The link is: Sorry if the link does not come up but you get the IDEA:
http://www.defjam.com/site/artist_bio.php?artist_id=567
I won a camera today at a Toastmasters event. It is a Delicious camera. I have taken 2 pictures, and it is a film camera (OMG do those still exist?). It's a FUJI. I will add it to my Camera Collection. Now I can BUG people with a film camera, not just my digital camera. Beware, you may be bugged.
I have a really cute new nephew, his name is Atticut Micheal Whitted.
Enough for now.
Go listen to Young Jeezy,
Peace,
Chillax,
Your favorite Chile of the 80s,
bbb

poem
Hi all:
here is a poem I just wrote.
Hee, Hee, Hee
Or Srawling Your Dreams Onto the Back of a Shopping List Notepad
By Alice
Unrequited Dreams
Unrequited Lust
Dreams falling into sallow pit of
Squash, bed, ugly neighborhood
Mising someone so much
Their absence is spiky to you
Dreams, Love, Money
Keep Your Feet on the Ground, and Keep Reaching For The Stars
Casey Kasem screwed me over
What is to be
of the College Girl who wanted
to be free
While the rest of the world
said Hee hee hee
What is to be
of Me
Where is your Place
If you do not slatheringly seek Money with Haste
Is it the Nine to Five
that keeps you Alive
or is that Jive
Want to be Free
Want to be Me
Please do not copy.
I turned on the satellite radio (Sirius)to channel 45, hoping to hear "Eminem's Uncut Hip Hop," which I expected to be EMINEM (favorite Detroit rapper)songs 24 / 7. You can imagine my dissapointment when I did not hear EMINEM but a bunch of other artists. The only EMINEM that I heard was short promos by EMINEM. I will still be listening to the station, at least now I know there will not be any songs by EMINEM.

Super Chillsauce shopping at Target, Matching Vests
Dear Loyal Readers,
Snappy blogging in full effect:
I want to give a quick update of my Sunday. Since I am trying to write fast I will just copy from the notebook where I wrote out this blog post:
Super chillsauce shopping with mom:
Target: a madhouse, lots of families shopping. I bought a shirt (they have some nice clothes--but I saw a lot of beach coverups--I don't need one since I don't live on the beach). Target had some good candles for $1. On Sunday everybody (including me) everyone has nothing better to do than go to Target.
Walgreen's: I got some Hot Pockets (2 for $5). You should get some. Then you can use a crisping sleeve. Then you can also say "CRISPING SLEEVE." Pepperoni and 4-meat Hot Pockets are very good.
At church (St. Monica) I dipped my fingers in the Holy Water twice--is this taking too much Holy Water???????????????????????????????????????????? question mark overkill. I should leave some for everybody else.
I also saw a Matching couple--they were in front of me--both had on vests. The man had on a Futuristic, space age-looking vest, and the woman also had on a vest. I did not see their faces, only the Matching Vests. Matchy! Matchy! Matchy! Those are just the facts, ma'am. Just the facts!
Later Kids,
Go and buy an Alkaline Trio album (if you can afford), it will soothe your anxiety in this troubled economy,
xo,
Alice
