Hi,
Yesterday I went to Tom Thumb. My friend Eckhart and I asked for pasta sauce and the guy who helped us looked like Snoop Doggy Dog. I wonder if he is rollin down the street smokin' endo, sippin on gin and juice?? With my mind on my money and my money on my mind.
I needed the alfredo sauce for some meatballs that I made tonight.
When I went to Pei Wei the other night, I ordered fried rice (chicken) and I discovered that with the order, they only give you a large spoon and chopsticks. How am I supposed to know how to use chopsticks?
I have never learned and will have to try some day, but still. Eckhart went to one of the workers and said, "My friend doesn't know how to use chopsticks, can I have a fork?" So I got a fork. The food was delicious. Eckhart offered me the Chopstick Helper ("Fun Chop") but I refused. If I learn, I will learn without the Chopstick Helper, thank you very much. I didn't even know they had those.
I am reading a little bit of "The Four Hour Workweek," by Tim Ferriss ( he is only 30years old). I am going to read it when I go to Barnes and Noble bc it's cheaper than buying it.
Ok, tired and can't think of anything else good to blog about tonight,
Keep Rollin Down the Street Smokin Endo, Sippin on Gin and Juice,
Peace

blogging on cheetos ** W.T.F.**
Loyal Readers:
Doing super chillsauce blogging on Chee-tos.
There will be a brief mourning period for my 2000 Red Neon, since I turned it in when I got a new car yesterday (Mond.) Although many claimed it was orange, it was really red. I had to turn it in when I got the new car, a Ford Focus. It is Vista Blue. Then Ford Focus is nice and it is nice because it has satellite radio. So I'm listening to Classic Vinyl all the time. Just because I like that station. The mourning period for Neon will only be a couple of weeks.
The W.T.F. above does not mean anything. I did have an urge to write W.T.F., and fulfilling that urge was fun.
I went to SPACE studios and gallery today, 2814 Main Street in Deep Ellum (also known as Hal Samples' Gallery, 214-334-4481). I have never been there, but it was super-inspiring. The current installation is by a Hispanic artist from Addison. It was mostly paintings and some of it was odd and over-morbid but I liked it anyway.
After I went to hole-in-the-wall coffee shop where they give you funny plates. I had a decaf latte (yes, that is possible).
i will post more photos on my blog soon.
Peace, xo,
Alice

I found a new CD World ... Yay!!! and Welcome to the Special 1989 Edition
Here is the homeless guy (James) I see on Preston Rd. and Royal Rd. I'm not sure if the image will appear so I will keep it short. I saw James the other day and asked him why he wasn't at Mockingbird and Greenville, where he usually is, and he said, "I move around."

I found a new CD World. Yes, the mourning period for CD World is over. I went to CD Warehouse, on Beltline and Marsh Lane, today.
CD Warehouse is the new CD World because:
-I liked the decor.
-It's an independent record store
-I need a new CD World.
Why CD Warehouse is worse than CD World:
-They did not have the 2 CDs I wanted. OK, OK, Blue October--a Houston band--does not release its album until March 24. But they did not have a Beastie Boys CD, Paul's Boutique, that is being reissued (See Below!).
-Workers had less metal in their FACES.
I bought a DVD, Vantage Point (with Matthew Fox), for $8.99. It is research for a short story I'm writing. So, watching the movie has a combined purpose--enjoyment and RESEARCH.
BB News:
The Beastie Boys have reissued "Paul's Boutique," their 1989 album.
I did not get it when it first came out but I want to get it now. For more info, go to:
If that does not appear on your lovely screen, go to:
http://www.paulsboutique.beastieboys.com
If you do not like this album, your replacement Beastie Boys album can be License to Ill. I think it is from 1986. I got this when it first came out. It was required listening in the fourth grade.
I am taking a class on being more assertive. It is April 21 and 23, at a local college. When I called to register Friday the guy on the phone said I was taking "the first step to being a more ASSERTIVE WOMAN." ???????????????????????????????????????? I would write WTF but I think the question marks are enough. yes, it is question mark overkill once again.
POP ROCKS make a nice snack if you are looking for a new snack.
Peace,
bbb

Go and buy a Bob Dylan Album.
Hi all,
A black cat crossed my path today. Although I was disturbed, nothing bad or terrible happened. It crossed my path while I was driving in my car and I wanted to run it over but I didn't.
I have a new psychiatrist. His name is Dr. Vobach. I don't know if I should write that, but oh well. He let me take a picture of him the other day.
Enough blabbing for now.
Try to work the words (combined, or separate if you must) "harmonic perturbation" into your normal everyday conversation,
Peace,

Cookie crumbling
That's the way the cookie crumbles. And it crumbles, and crumbles, and crumbles. And the grass is always greener and all that good stuff.

Hello I am dissing my bed to blog for you.
Dear Loyal Readers:
I just ate some meatballs from ikea. They were delicious. Wow! How did you do that, you say, at 10:25 on a Sunday night? I bought them from ikea when I went Saturday. With my Fabulous Cooking Skills I simply put them in a bowl, covered them, and put them in the microwave on high for 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Wow, a delicious meal in 3 minutes and 30 seconds. I also ate some carrots just for variety (which I skillfully microwaved). So next time you go to ikea BUY SOME. Yes, I am bucking the trend and writing ikea in lowercase letters. But NDH can get away with it.
Also observed at ikea (Houston) : They should have a sign outside stating that a requirement for entering is that you must be dressed slobbily. Simply an observation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! exclamation mark overkill. I did go in the morning, maybe Houstonians did not have time to dress normally, but still.
I told this guy (maybe in his 40s)in a Michigan sweatshirt that I liked his sweatshirt and that I went to school there and he smiled politely.
My last ikea observation: Who could use that many containers and laundry baskets?????????????????????????????????????????????????????? question mark overkill.
I was at church today (St. Monica's in Dallas). There is a portion where you are supposed to pray for a bunch of different people (the sick, the president, and more). Then the reader says, "Now let us pray for our own Special Needs." Well, I was not done praying for my Special Needs when she said, "AMEN." That is not fair.
I really like a song I heard last night, I just discovered it is by Cracker. It's old, but I sitll like it. Lyrics are: "Being with you girl, like being Low, Hey, Hey, Hey, like being stoned." If you do get a chance, you should go to the record store and buy it. In fact, buy it immediately.
Have to go be church-y and pray for my Special Needs.
